What's the Length of Pull on this stock and can it be adjusted?
The TactaLoad® FLASH-5 stock has a 13 1/2″ Length-of-Pull (LOP). We offer two 1/2″ LOP Spacers (sold separately) to adjust the stock to either a 14″ or a 14 1/2″ LOP.
Or, you can use our Tactical Buttplate (sold separately) that when substituted for the rubber recoil pad gives the shooter a 12 1/2″ LOP. We do provide additional mounting hardware with the Tactical Buttplate in case you would like to increase the LOP using the 1/2″ LOP Spacers (sold separately).
Will the FLASH-5™ fit my 20g Remington or Mossberg shotgun?
I have a different shotgun model than the Mossberg 500 or Remington 800 series', will you be making a TactaLoad® stock for mine as well?
We are currently looking into adding additional shotgun models to the TactaLoad Family.
How much faster is the TactaLoad® FLASH-5™stock compared to side saddles and other gun mounted shell carriers?
In our research and development stage, we had numerous shooters from all different shooting disciplines shoot five rounds from the reloading platform of their choice and then shoot five rounds from the FLASH-5™ stock. Generally, we found our stock was 30% faster while reloading – and that was with limited practice using the FLASH-5™ stock. Once a shooter becomes more familiar with the stock, the speed continues to increase.
